We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our coaching staff for the upcoming Spring/Summer AAU Basketball season (March-July). This is a paid position offering monthly stipend with travel and hotel accommodations fully covered. You will be coaching talented high school athletes, helping them develop their skills, compete at a high level, and gain valuable exposure to college scouts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach two AAU tournaments per month (travel required).
Lead two practices per week, focusing on fundamental skill development, strategy, and team building.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with players, parents, and program directors before, during, and after each tournament.
Be a positive role model and mentor to your players, fostering a culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Provide feedback and encouragement to players, helping them improve their individual and team performance.
Attend team meetings and coach development sessions.
Uphold program values and policies.
QUALIFICATION
Proven experience coaching basketball at the high school or collegiate level.
Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, offensive and defensive strategies, and training methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire players.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Willingness to travel frequently.
